He says that they will change a speakers impedance by 2x, 3x, or 4x depending on the tap. The claimed benefits are an easy to drive speaker, thus having a larger damping factor allowing for more bass control, detail, imaging etc....
I am not quite sure how this all works. He says that it will let a low powered amps (SETs included) drive Logan's and Magnepans just be changing them to 16-ohm load?
It does just not make sense to me that by changing the impedance will substitute for good old fashion power? What's the trade off, or what are they not telling us?
Enough questions.
